Hi Tony,
Yes we did go through at that time,sorry I didn’t see you.I was gawping at Owens and Jenkinsons motors parked in there.
We had a trip up to Shrewsbury,got plenty of pics.Did you see the old AEC with the lowloader going through,we got a rear shot of it by the Lazy Trout and a front view as we were coming down towards Preston Island.

yes i saw it go through,wonder where it was off too,

No idea Tony,we first saw it going by when we were parked on Ludlow bypass,then we caught it up before Marshbrook.The driver pulled over at the layby near the Lazy Trout,there was an artic in there as well,otherwise I would have stopped to get some more pics.We went up to Battlefield r/about and stopped on the way back down and took some more pics,then just below the Wellington Island we met him heading north,so we had a pic of the front.
