hiya,
Just my luck Dave in all honesty i suspected it was empty the wheels look a bit too round to be be loaded, but on the odd occasion I ran carrying spirits or beer I always managed to secret a few “samples” into the shed for personal and medicinal purposes you understand, well you do need refreshment when on those boring motorways.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Harry,
I have just had another think about that artic, the axles aren’t dumped,so maybe you were right that it was loaded. We will have to get a Carlsberg driver to advise,if you know one
.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Very quiet at the moment is our Norm Dave, but I am very knowledgeable with Carlsberg outlets if that’s of any use, in fact after I collect the “old lady” from the hairdressers I’m going to do a spot of sampling the lager is the chaser only you can’t get tight on lager alone the pubs aren’t open long enough so I’ll just have to bump it up a bit with a Glenfiddick or two, cheers!!
thanks harry long retired.

Don’t they have 24 hour opening up your way Harry.Half the pubs this way needn’t open at all,as theiy don’t seem to be doing the trade.I think the supermarkets and drink drive etc has finished them.
Cheers Dave.

Don’t know about 24 hour opening but we are losing pubs and clubs on a daily basis, as you say the supermarkets are doing the trade now the young-uns get rat arsed in the house now before turning out, I have no intention of becoming a stay at home drinker although i do imbibe a drop or two of single malt under my own roof but for medicinal purposes only and just to prove I haven’t lost my sense of taste I’ve got to admit I only use the pub on very rare occasions these days you need to re-mortgage the house to afford a ■■■■-up, very sad.
thanks harry long retired.

We haven’t got a pub where I live Harry.Used to have a school also a shop/post office, all closed now.The nearest pub is two miles away which is on its last legs. The owners have tried opening a cafe, but with little success.I’m afraid the writing is on the wall for it.
When I was a teenager nearly everybody from the surrounding villages went there and to the other pubs in the area.,.But times have changed, different people moving in,drink drive laws and people have all sorts of entertainment in their own homes.
Unless a pub does good food around these parts, they are finished.
Cheers Dave.
