Nathan I don’t know about spending shackels but this trucks limiter wasn’t working on the friday before the show. I was heading along the M54 and he shot past me as if I was standing still. I even had a look down to see if I had left the hand brake on
maybe show trucks don’t have to have them?
It upset me that much that I persuaded the boss to get Powertrucks to add an extra 100 ponies to mine, at least i’ll get him on the hills now

Regards Keith.

Would it be possibly pre limiter lorry Keith.Anything before 1987 didn’t have a limiter IIRC.Haven’t been ble to log on for the last two days, back at the moment.
Cheers Dave.

A smart looking Daf XF.

hiya,
Nice to see you back Dave i managed to log back on late last night but i think every normal person had retired for bed but i kept plugging away and finally cracked it, these computer thingy’s will always remain a mystery to me like i’ve often said bring back the steam age and i’ll be in my element.
thanks harry long retired…

Hi boys
Dave never thought of the age thing, we keep going but don’t realise how old some of these trucks are. It’s like going to the scrap yard and seeing cars in there that are newer than the ones we run   Anyway like Harry said good to have you back

Regards Keith.

Hi Harry,
Good to be back, hope it doesn’t happen again.I tried everything including slowing my computer down by cocking up,but got it fixed.Wasn’t on until early afternoon today as I was on general haulage with my transit, fetching some building materials for a mate who sorted my PC last night.
Cheers Dave.

Another Fordson Thames seen at Oswestry.

A well decorated car transporter.

A smart carpet carrier.

Here’s one that Altitude or Muckaway might know.

Here’s one that Altitude or Muckaway might know.

He used to run an ERF ECS rigid 6wheeler but sold it and bought a hiab block wagon after a short time. Was this one a tipper or block wagon?

Hi Dave this was a block wagon.

Hi Guys.

Great pics again Dave. Yet again you and Tracy do us proud

I know Roger very well. He started in the quarry with a Volvo F7 tipper, followed by two ERF’s…all 6 wheelers and absolutely immaculate. That Volvo follows on from a 8 x 2 ECS block lorry. There was one in between but I’m damned if I can remember what it was at the moment!

He is what is known as ā€˜very cab happy’ but they are a real credit to him, they always look very smart. He is a real nice fella too and would never mind having a chat, especialy about the lorries!
