More bad news from near my area today.

Three more hauliers jacking it in at the end of the month. Rates, particularly for 6x4’s just not there at the moment. :frowning:

There are a hell of a lot of lorries turning left at the moment John, and probably more going on up to the Gore, there are artics from everywhere loading from the quarries at the moment as the Councils are spending there end of financial year money.
I wouldn’t think any hauliers are getting much out of it.
Cheers Dave.

My chief photographer hadn’t adjusted the lighting on the camera,as this one of Robinson’s of Worcester, was turning off the A44 into the Gore quarry.

It’s a national thing with quarry work I think Merfyn, these quarries here are flat out at the moment, but after the diesel and wages are paid,I wouldn’t think anyone is making much out of it.They surely must give hauliers a decent rate soon, otherwise there will be no lorries left to deliver their materials.
Cheers Dave.
