That’s correct Harsco is Multiserv or Faber Prest, there are loads of there trailers in Corus at Shotton (Deeside)

I was in Corus Shotton last week and there is a trailer graveyard in there got to be 50 or more coil carriers with quite a few of Lloyds of Ludlow triaxles in amongst them with the old British Steeel logo on them.

I know Corus has been bought by an Indian company called Tata Steel, won’t be long before the logo changes again.

I think these went bust just before Christmas and finished all their drivers. They started up again in the new year as a totally different company. Totally different.

They must have been very optimistic to give it another go hammer.
Cheers Dave.

Hi all what have I started ! Well Harsco is a new name for old firms that’s about right ! Thanks for finding out for me any way .I used to drive for Joint Motorways and it still seems weird that you don’t see them, blue line , cardiff transport and all the outher South wales hauliers going up and down the A49 .So who is doing all the work from Port Talbot now is it just Owens and Harsco ? Any way thanks for finding who Harsco is .tony

The A49 from Craven Arms to Shrewsbury hasn’t changed a bit Martyn, other than got rougher from the frost and lack of maintenance.
Cheers Dave.
