Thanks for the info Dunc.I thought it was on an industrial estate somewhere.David has lent me the pics, haven’t got some of their lorries amongst them, but possibly he has more.Bill Buchan had another newer Scania after this one which was a smart six wheeler, haven’t seen any pics of that.
Cheers Dave.

That would be about right for a Scania 81 Dave, two axles and no more - ask Harry!
I must say that the 86 looks a nice compact motor though,I notice it’s got an “EE” Grimsby reg, there was/is a big Scania dealer there whose name escapes me.
Everything escapes me nowadays.

Hi Chris,
Roy Edwards the owner of M A Evans had the Scania dealership in Knighton. He reduced his fleet a few years ago and gave up the Scania dealership.West Pennine run it now renting his premises .
He also ran a very nice E plated six wheeler tipper after that one.
Cheers Dave.

I think they are from Ellesmere Port Chris, the right area to base some tankers.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Just a question Dave are these M A Evans motors that you are currently posting for our pleasure still in daily use or are they archive photo’s, if still in use on a daily basis they are a credit to him you don’t see many motors of that vintage still operational although anything Scania 8■■? should have been scrapped when coming off the assembly line, although the six wheeler looks well and so long as it does’nt get any bigger should be a decent motor, prefer the 111s though.
thanks harry long retired.
