I just can’t see these working. Fine with a nice hot load of base, not so much with a load of SMA thats been on for about five hours.
Digging on of these ■■■■■■■ out wouldn’t be much fun.
Giving this a nudge and just wanted to say get well soon Dave.
All the best.

Hiya I,am not 100% certain about this trailer… cauldon low cement works (blue circle)(Lafarge) are using human waste in dry pellet form to mix in
the with the limestone. the pellets are coming from middlesbourough. the job is running 24/7… this may tie up with the walking floor trailer.
John
Good news that Dave is getting better.

Look lads you’ve really been taken in by this"Daves in Hospital"!!! I happen to know he “disappears” at this time every year and dosen’t re-appear until Boxing Day knackered!!! But I’m saying nowt!!! he swore me to secrecy!! Now I reckon this revelation will have “H” sat up all night watching his fire grate,“howay Dave you can spare another nano second to have a wee dram with a mucker” I can hear him say!!!Just mark my words Dave will be back on the thread wondering what all the fuss was about!!I’ve said enough(for a change)Dennis.

Update on Dave…Just had a call from Tracy, Dave is in Hereford Hospital with pneumonia, and is expected to be there for about another week. The good news is he’s on the mend. I didn’t speak to him only through Tracy, but he said he has some old photos to put on when he gets home, and wait for it… He’s got one of a Guy Big J with a Gardener 8LXB in it… he never gives up even when he’s ill
![]()
he sends his regards to you all, and will be back on as soon as he can.
Cheers
John.
Big J with a 240 Gardner in it?..that would shut Dennis up,and I’ve got £50 riding on it!
Rgds to all,
David

I’m very plased to hear that Dave is on the mend and will be back in the “best place” in a week or so! AND on the off chance that he has produced a photo of a Guy Big J with 8LXB,unless it is an SOM fleet tractor all bets are void!!! unless ,of course, you want paying out in £3 and £9 notes!!! Cheers Dennis.
I,m back chaps, still got a bit more fitness to regain. Shall be on here more as I shall not be going out in the cold.
Many thanks for all the kind messages, only got home at 7.15 tonight, and spent a hour and a half trying to get on.
Will get my brother in law to collect the pics of the Big J plus others over the weekend.
Cheers Dave.
