Dave remember a firm having one of these in artic form doing local collection and delivery work many moons ago it had the Scammell coupling and pulled a little single axle trailer i can remember it had a petrol engine just wonder did Bedford produce these in artic form or would this have been a homemade job it sure did plenty of work and would have earned it’s keep it was the only one i ever remember seeing as an artic.

I remember as a kid,the railway at Kington had lorries,they used to haul fertilizer to a depot at a place where we lived,only a mile from where I live now.They had mostly four wheelers carrying about five ton,but one day they turnrd up with an artic,the first that I had ever seen,this would have been early 50’s when I was about five years old. I’m sure it was a Bedford like you described.

Yeah your right there Dave brings it all back, had forgot all about Robert Price untill I saw that photo. I think at the time I was driving a TK may have been a KM towards the end.
