ERF beaver tailed six wheeler plant lorry taking vintage machines from the Kington Show.
Pretty sure this used to belong to JPS Plant Hire, based up this way (either Colwyn Bay or Mold, I forget).

Guy Big J with an 8LXB engine with a showman’s caravan on tow.
Can I assume that you had your “tongue in cheek”(to supress the LOL) when you took this shot Renegade! However in order to avoid a riot at the “Sunset Home” for retired SOM drivers to-morrow I must ask you a number of questions! 1) Did you actually see the 8LXB engine in the Guy? 2)Was the outfit moving when you took the shot? If the answer to No1 is No! I only saw the Badge on the grille. And the answer to 2) is yes then you are definitely on “the wind up” and must take full responsibility for the aggro you will un-leash on claiming to have actually, physically, seen a Guy Big J 8LXB.Iv’e been studying the shot and unless the end of the engine is sticking into the body I can’t see that it can be an 8LXB and it has just been “Badge Engineered”.now come on Renegade don’t wilt in the face of the coming storm!!! Cheers Dennis.

Hi Dennis,
The vehicle was moving in answer to your question 2) The answer to your question 1) is tha no I couldn’t see the back of the engine because of the body. But Dennis I can assure you I will send a team of researcher’s to Shobdon to varify the facts.
Cheers Dave 8LXB SEARCHER.

There is a thread on the proffesional forum about American/Australian trucks, but no one so far has answered my question
"is there a toilet in them " if not,all the toys and bling aren’t much use as a home from home.
Cheers Dave.
