One good thing that could come out of this thread is that if another Newbie see’s it they might be able to sort themselves out if need be.But with a company like Brakes, would you get into more trouble if you did do a quick fix job to get yourself home?

Good question, initiative and the ‘keep her lit, get it home’ attitude aren’t allowed at scummy companies like Brakes. Mouth breathing, being clad in hi vis permanently and no ability to think for yourself are order of the day.
