Well, here we go again! (Again!)

Megawhat?:
Thanks for the support guys.

Really, I don’t know if or how I’m going to continue. I’ve got some time left to decide but right now I’m seriously not sure about throwing in another £500 odd on a repeat performance of last thursday. I’ll figure it out, eventually.

Are you happy with the provider & trainer if not then go back re assess then look at things

When I done mine I though I had failed so carried on got to end of test & had passed as took the attitude as wasnt bothered & early on though I had made a mistake that was gonna fail me but didnt I did get 2 minors as well

But dont give up yet you could leave it a few mth then come back to it after you have saved a bit more

Must say £500 is a little steep.

Sorry things didn’t go your way on test, gutted for you :frowning: , sounds like test nerves kicked may have in a bit there  Have you thought about going & doing your training & retest in. A different area altogether, just a suggestion…it may work though! :sunglasses:
I had problems with test nerves for C test  despite the fact I had driven livestock & horses around the country for quite a number of years previously in a 7.5 Tonne truck :open_mouth: that’s when I decided to go way off up north to get some exellent training away from work, away from family & friends etc , so there was absolutly nothing to bug me!! :sunglasses: :sunglasses: I gained my C pass  & a few months later I returned to Peter Smythes & achieved my C+E first time pass on a clear faultless sheet   … I’m still grinning… Thank you Peter
This is just to show you that It Can Be Done!! :sunglasses:. Sometimes it pays to alter the course around the training just a bit , if only to shake off the 'nerves thing ’ before it becomes a vicious circle  , & to give yourself a chance . I struggled to refund , money being hard earned , that’s when I decided to travel up from the south west to Mansfield, Yes it was a long way :open_mouth: But well worth it for the excellent training I received , & the ‘Results’ I gained
So don’t feel low about things, pick yourself up, brush yourself off… and good luck with your next text

Sorry to hear your result. It’s a horrible feeling I’m sure most of us on here know all about. Don’t give up chief.

Agreed, A retest should be around £250, 2 hours before and the test.

Whoops, sorry fellas, I should elaborate on that a bit. It’s around £500 because after a ■■■■-up this wonderful I feel I should probably take another day to get around what tripped me up this time. Every test I’ve taken I’ve not made the mistakes of the previous one. (Roundabouts and meeting situations.) It’s mainly because I’m likely to get a morning test. I’m not sure if an hour or two in the cab is going to cut it beforehand.

Makes sense in a way. It’s whatever makes you feel comfortable at the end of the day. Take some time to think about it

Well fellas I bit the bullet and put myself in for another test day. Sadly, there’s no availability until well into January, so I’ll be sitting on my hands for a good while yet before I’m back in the cab.

Oh well!

glad to see you’re going for test again, good luck for the January ‘new year’
