Many year ago I passed an artic crawling along the A12, it had a Plod Ford Explorer on the front dragging it out ofthe way. Highly commendable.

Fully agree that we should always, without fail, stick to all the many and varied rules that govern how we are allowed to operate on the network. In fact the very first thing i always do at scene is a full and complete check for any cameras and which way they are facing. Then i apply common sense to the situation and deal with whatever is in front of me. As was said up there ^^^^^ werent we taken on to try and keep traffic flowing?
In all honesty though, not all HATO’s work like this sadly. There are some who really do apply all the rules regardless, not saying they are wrong, they sometimes lack common sense and goo decision making skills in my opinion.
Anyway, we still on for the 20th??
