I was between J12 and 13 of the M6 n/b this morning coming in from my trunk to Launceton,when I came up behind one of these sliding roof coil carriers.He was doing about 45-48 mph and wandering on and off the hard shoulder,I pulled out to overtake him and saw it was a bright yellow Scania.Normal Scania driver,hiding behind his curtains,but he couldn’t hide the fact that he was punching out a number or a text on his mobile,■■■■■■■ knobhead!

Thats a bit harsh. He could have had a hangover or was having a lie-in… or possibly still drunk & was simply texting in to report too sick to drive.

The poor chap probably had it on cruise and riding the tram lines in lane 1 whilst on a 45 in the bunk. Is that so bad?

i saw one of our drivers on the a34 wilmslow by pass texting on two phones simultaniously, when i got back to the yard i said to him what were you doing texting on two phones at the same time while driving, he said he wasn’t , he was texting on one phone and updating his facebook on the other! he couldn’t see anything wrong with it saying "well i didn’t crash did i " he’s no longer with us, is he with you?
