Maybe his satnav crashed… One would normally just utter an expletive, keep on to the next roundabout, and come back.

If he hadn’t driven all the way on to the grass and only on to the pavement, he would have had a good lock on, simply roll it back a little and jack-knife it a little more and he could have easily made that turn.
10 metres behind him is a road he could have reversed into… My road

Yeah. My mates company pulled him out. He was following sat Nav & didn’t want to go over the bridge, so decided to try and turn around
