This thread is now about tipped over tippers!

Ready for another load

Do you reckon it was caused by trailer defect?

Tarrman:
Do you reckon it was caused by trailer defect?

or driver defect

In the first pic it looks like the trailer is sitting straight and on level ground …

so well might be a trailer defect … but then again wot the heck do i know…?

they can go over on level ground, just depends wot u have on. stone tips better than dust or clay type materials, scrap and glass comes out well,as does farm products. ram and tipper pipe fatigue play major parts, aswell as uneven ground. i close my eyes every time i tip, but it is fun

could be a rear pin sheered or uneven load distribution

wind and tipping whilst facing downhill can get ya

Going a bit rorschach here now,I can see a Bigfoot pawprint! lol.

from what i’ve been told today the rear pin sheared first forceing everything else to go south,

owner driver red daf apparently in his 70’s

my boss would reload that and deal with it later , a " let it develope " kind of thing …
