Got a mate moving up to Linton(cambs) from the south coast and he’s asked me to find out what welchs transport at stapleford are like to work for and what the wages are like?Also are they taking on ATM ?

I went for an interview there last month…pay, terms & conditions as described to me are on a par with the what I perceive to be the worse in the industry.
What rate of Pay was on offer?

Yes it really was horrible towards the end. They use to be not anymore though, if your mates got experience i’d say try somewhere else first, culina is only 15mins down the road from linton, you’ve got alot of builders merchants close by too, depends what he wants.
i work for welch,s (henlow) depot ,and im happy there and like most places it has its good and bad days. i cant comment on the cambridge depot. in general id say they are a good firm to work for,but someone else might say different.

I went to henlow a couple of times and seemed alot better same with st ives.
