Weird!!

Ive just had a missed call on my mobile, nothing unusual in that as its normally telemarketers etc, but just googled the number and it was Norbert Dentressangle in Sheffield

It was the helicopter pilot for Norbert,to say he will land on Stobarts car park and tell him,he can do eurowork for 5 euros and still make a profit.

This is getting even more weirder - just checked my email and had an email from ND saying that they tried to contact me today and to ring them back on 01604 xxxxxx so I mentioned it to the lady and said have you applied to Sheffield because the vacancy is for Andover…
So Im guessing a vacancy has arisen at Andover then if their contacting me :grimacing:

This time are you going to stick with your lorry brethren instead of jumping ship to buses when it takes your fancy :imp:

The correct number is Northampton 01604 737100 which is the recruitment team which are dealing with all Andover driver recruitment.

Plenty of places left still  Good luck DAF95XF

Actually its coaches, how dare you call me a bus driver :smiling_imp:
It actually depends on the pay and if I can get a trunking job

Trunking is boring , give me tons of drops on wholesale any day of the week

DAF just wants to earn good money and not work hard for it. No problem because people are like that these days

No, I just found at ND that I preferred the trunking over the multidrop, just a shame it was only a Hounslow - Northampton run and a drop and swap…

DAF95XF:
it was Norbert Dentressangle in Sheffield

I thought he was French! you must have been good if the Boss himself is giving you a bell.

Maybe Norbert has become a silent partner in a heavy vehicle recovery and repair business and needs an increase in profit.

ā– ā– ā– ā–  me…had enough of the coaches already?

You should get a name change to ā€œBoomerangā€!

He’s been on coaches a while, I normally only last around 6 weeks (but have done upto 12mths at 1 coach firm - but that was before passing my LGV) before I’m ready to kill the germ spreading scum bags that travel by PSV

Yeah I know a European tour coach driver who caught a few diseases, his missus divorced him over it

Maybe it was your planner looking for you and you forgot you are working for them :stuck_out_tongue:

Well you know, I was no.1 ND driver but I was offered a 900bhp top of the range Premium or becoming a driver trainer but I declined the offer

A year on the 1st of August :stuck_out_tongue:
The strange thing is, Ive grown quite attached to my allocated coach now, if you look past the Iveco badge, the wipers not parking after using the screen wash, the lack of power on hills, not much room in the drivers seat and the special way of getting into the seat because of the lack of seat adjustment its not a bad coach, it even gets better looked after than my own car
