Weekly rest after no more than 6 days of 45 hours but can be reduced to 24 but must be paid back by the 3rd week 1 reduced every two weeks.
My point in making this thread as I’m unsure if working nights shifts and on Friday night witch would roll in the 6thday being Saturday would that be classed as a reg if you come on 45 hrs latter on the Monday but reduced if less , may sound stupid but not 100 percent sure
dosent matter if its night shift, if you have completed 6 straight shifts you must have a weekly rest of 45 hrs or a reduced rest of at least 24 hrs.
The regs do not use the term DAYS but go by hours so working days or nights makes no difference
A driver could work every day of every week and still be legal
Start 2200 sun and finish 0100 sat = 45 hours off
