Hi I have a question on weekly rest.
My agency has just phoned me and told me I am not required on Bank Hol Monday due to low demand. I usually have Wednesday and Thursday off every week. If I worked Wednesday and took my days off as Monday & Thursday I would get approx two stints of 31 hours rest. Is it acceptable to split your weekly rest like this

you can reduce your weekly rest to 36 hours with no problem - you need to make up the other 9 hours before the end of the third following week, so taking two 36’s in on week would be fine 
31 hours would get you into trouble unless you were away from home - you can reduce to 24 hours away from home, but I don’t think you would be able to do that in this case.
