do you mean you had 45 hours rest according to the maths but in reality you had 44 hours rest due to the clocks going forward?
if you had bang on 45 hours rest then yes you can have a reduced rest this weekend.
if it was 44 hours 59 minutes, no you cant. you’ve had a reduced weekly rest last weekend and this weekend need to have a full rest.
i think, no doubt tacho will be along shortly to shoot me down in flames, but i think i am right.
What Gibsla said.
On the information as given it looks like you had a reduced weekly rest period last week, more than 24 and less than 45 hours, so you require a regular weekly rest, at least 45 hours, this week.
so i had to add the hour on and take 46 off because the clocks went on ?
a simple yes or no please
dont baffle me

I think it is you that is baffling us.
Did you have 45 hours off. Yes or no?
Or did the time from when started your Weekly Rest to when you ended it ‘calculate’ to 45 hours. i.e., in reality, 44 hours?

For a regular weekly rest period you must have taken at least 45 actual hours so the difference between you starting your weekly rest while we were on GMT and finishing on BST should be 46 hours, which is an actual 45 hours.
Examples
-
Start rest 16:00 GMT Friday and resume work at 14:00 BST (13:00 GMT) Sunday looks like 46 hours but is actually 45.

If your times last week are like example 1 then you can have a reduced weekly rest this week. If they are like example 2 then you cannot.

You have to have 45 hours of actual rest. 44 hours plus an hour gained by moving the clocks forward doesn’t count.
For example if you got back to the yard at 0900 on saturday morning then any normal weekend your 45h would be up at 0600 on monday morning, but last weekend you wouldn’t be able to start until 0700 if you wanted/needed it to count as a full weekly rest.
