I am shipping out to Caen on Friday nights boat and heading towards Barcelona for tuesday morning, I am just wondering if anyone has any favorite parking places that will have facilities open on the weekend about half way along that route, I would guess around Clermont Ferrand area,

There used to be quite a few Routiers along that route.
I don’t know if any of them are open for the weekend, or even still open.

Good routiers at Castets, south of bordeaux, that is open all weekend. You will get there quite nice on a days drive from caen. By the way, you cant park in caen docks now to make up your break so its either get to portsmouth early or run down to the caen centre routier.
