When I drove round from the front yard up Brum to the rear to pick up the one I’d brought up, a stobbard driver was blocking the road which is at traffic lights which he’ was almost a trailers length over the stop line . He pulled forward so I could get my unit round on. The lights changed and he carried on at an angle and I heard cuuurunch :astonished_face:. Then he began reversing. He hit the bloody railings, which looking on the most recent street view he isn’t the first.

Must be powerful side thrusters on the narrowboat to stop it being pushed sideways by the weight of the truck leaning on it. :wink:

As for moi this week…

Late start Wed, got my trailer and ran down as far as Wychbold, stopped there to see 2nd half of Newcastle game.

Thurs…9 off, Wanstrow…again. One in Ilchester, then Bridgwater..park Cullompton.

Fri…Uffculme, South Molton, last drop Winkleigh.

Up to Avonmouth, change trailers and up to Stoke, park up.

Had a 1300 Tesco Livingston today :roll_eyes: got there 1330 in there to about 4…back in yard for 7pm.

Rough as ■■■■ on way back with an empty trailer.

Late for me for a Sat, 47 hours in this week, finished now to January.
