I’m heading off to drive down to the Costa del Sol on tuesday, i usually go down through the middle and cross into Spain via the Tunnel de Somport but i guess i had better do Tours Poitiers and Bordeaux with the weather as it is. As anyone been through in the last couple of days, what are the roads like ?.
i left calais at 4pm ish yesterday and it was chucking the stuff down, got our other drivers stuck nr reims n lyon. the day before. if i were you i,d go via bordeax as well. good luck n have a nice trip. 
Hi ex-haulier, I live in France near Limoges, roads are clear from here to Bordeaux, better check further north above Poitiers, but you should be ok, all the snow down here melted in the light rain on Sat night.

Just come off boat in Calais and there is about 6" of fresh snow!!!
