we all know and have seen those sorry plobbers who wear their hi viz whilst driving, eating, and generally toodling around services and cafes.
we might look at them with great scorn and derision, and no doubt they deserve all the thoughts of pity and contempt we give them for being complete herberts.
on that note,
we now have in my mind the ultimate wazzock, pleb,in a similar style to the invented personnas of ukprickytrampyjakeynickeyrowley ectect.
someones driving ( mostly in their single occupancy car) but they are wearing their face mask…why, and WTF■■?
surely these prime examples of anoraks and trainspotters cannot have forgotten to take them off after coming out of a shop,so what would possess anyone to be wearing one when alone in their car?
ive yet to see a truckie on a motorway wearing one,but it can only be a matter of time.
Probably something to do with not touching it. Once it is on it is on kind of thing. As for the hi-viz, some cabs are filthy and if you put it down somewhere it will get dirty. If you are walking around the services, you probably want to be seen, seems sensible enough. Nothing offensive either way.

If the cab’s too dirty to put your hi-viz down, why would you do your shift in that cab?
Pollen filter won’t filter out the plague, seems perfectly reasonable, plus you want everyone around you to KNOW that you’re taking the government guidelines seriously and wear your mask with pride

Wearing a facemask in a single occupancy car is somewhat akin to wearing a condom for bed when you live alone!
Oh I always do that! I never know if I’ll get excited during a dream about a V8 Scania driving down far off roads and have a little ‘accident’ so best to be safe rather than sorry. Besides, it’s not like I get to use them during ■■■■ times these days
