Sorry,Ive no idea where this Tescos that he’s on about is. 
Probably Tesco at travellers lane Welham Green ? Tescos is the building in the bottom right of the screen

No, the tescos he’s on about is on the roundabout of the A1/A414. You need to come in off the 414, then you will be able to stop on the service rd near the bottle banks.
Jct 4 of the A1 and you can’t miss it

Need to be parked up by 3.30 pm I’m in hatfield is watling st truckstop open and is it ok ish or is south mimms a better option ? Money no object as I get it refunded, thanks.

It should be open, not aware of any reason for it not to be? There’s nowt to choose between the two really
Edit to add; it is open, cheaper than S.Mimms and has a truck wash if you need it…

Ok 44 tonne ton thanks for that ain’t been there for years so as time is tight just wanted to make sure thanks.
Not been for yrs but seen some bad reviews on here recently regarding poor food,surly staff,shutting early about 7.00pm i think,this includes washing and toilet facilities,

The only good thing about south mimms is the showers and the space you have in them,would be watling st for me,decent food last time I was there about a month ago.
Didnt overnight there so don’t know the price.
Last time I parked there it was ruddy noisey , and stank of peeeee

Just to let you know had to opt for south mimms unfortunately cos was short on time but beggers can’t be chosers anyway got me earplugs.
stopped at watling st the other morning i was running early so had 2 hrs kip got ther about 5 45 am .ok i know most are starting at that time but i was noisy as hell and in that 2hrs some ■■■■■ tt bang the fk out of my door asking for diesel as they didn t take cash only a card …yer right what abt the shell garage next door then …so then i couldnt get back to sleep after telling him to do one
I was at Watling St when the driver of the DAF with the tank on ( Abbey’s) came in to tell the manageress he’d had his diesel nicked. A few ‘people’ smashed cap off and pumped out 200lts.Driver had been there 20 mins, 10am, parked next to entrance. These people have some front.
PS I didn’t see the incident as I was in the cafe
