I watched this unfold from a distance and had a bad feeling from the minute I spotted it!
A 44’ artic on a ‘b’ class (narrow) road is running parallel with a railway banking, then it has to make a right angle turn to get under a 12’ 3 arched bridge. You are likely to be ahead of me here but he ripped the nearside upper corner off the trailer. He said he had done the trip before. The irony is it would probably have taken a fraction longer to go through an alternative bridge about the same height without the right angle turn (straight on) or perhaps 5 -10 minutes longer to follow the main route with no bridges.
