About a month ago, Friday night around midnight in the middle of Leamington Spa (The Parade, town centre) I was stood outside TJ’s waiting for my mate, on the way for further lubrication, when out of the revellers and taxis appeared a grey (?)B reg (I think) ERF 8 legger with a deep throaty Gardner 150 rumble. It rolled down the Parade, stopped with a hiss of air brakes and then trundled off into the night. Talk about surreal; a fellow behind me said “ooh the fair’s in town” but I don’t think so - more like a beautifully restored ERF with the oval grille - made my night.
