Hear, here. For those that think it is acceptable, what would you do if this bloke bent you over in this way? Would you just put it down to him misreading the signals?
And there lies the problem. Some men - or rather, boys - just don’t know where to draw the line and end up committing what is basically a ■■■■■■ assault due entirely to their own arrogance.
If you can’t tell where jokes or flirting end and molesting begins, you should stay clear of women completely until you are mature enough to make such judgements.

Just because a woman chooses to drive doesn’t mean that she ceases to be a woman, nor does it make it ok for men to help themselves to her body, no matter what the circumstances. It’s not about equality, it’s about basic respect, which is deserved by every human being, regardless of gender or occupation.
If you say to let this go “just this once” where the hell do you draw the line? “Oh well, he raped me, but we were having a laugh and ajoke before and a bit of harmless banter…and he was really sorry afterwards…so that’s alright then…” Let’s get real, eh?

The minute the guy layed a hand on her he was in the wrong , IF Lady P wanted she couldn have had the guy charged with Asualt, and then not only would he be sacked but facing the a charge! (altho the fact she thumped him opens her up to counter claim!!!)
Bending a female over and ridiculing her in front of people is NOT a joke, there is no mis read signals its crossing the line big style , and every honest person knows that , i have met a good few female drivers who can take a joke and can swear with the best of them BUT we all know when to stop !
No one needs to put up with that st1t while just trying to earn a honest crust ,

You WERE in the right to report it and remember it wasn’t your decsion to sack him. Maybe this wasn’t the first time he’d been reported for something.
My personal thought on this is the right course of action was taken. He should have been sacked that was a disgusting thing for that person to do. Men and women, no matter what their profession is, have fought for years to rid the work place of this kind of thing.

I would say 100% right thing to have done LP. You said in your last post that he overstepped the mark in your view on a previous occasion, so all the more reason for him to go this time.
I hope his workmate friends also see it as wrong what he did and you don’t get the cold shoulder at work.
I lived in Denmark form many years, its not a problem you would have, people treat each other with respect, a woman can walk alone at night, its just become normal to bully people here and more than often its the victim who is cast as the bad person. No you were right LP no doubt about it.

I agree, arguably it would be a more dangerous situation if it happened to a male driver, especially with the homophobic attitudes still prevelent in society.
Its simple no bullying of any kind especially physical, people can easily tell the difference between banter and bullying, if you cant keep your trap shut.
