Makes no odds what it is, if it’s fitted, it must be in good working order.
so your telling me you would refuse to take a motor out brcause an exhaust brake stork is broke ?

Like he said everything should be working properly, I’m guessing your the guy I spoke to who even said “I don’t blame you”

pm me with the fleet number or reg because i am 90 percent certain of which vehicle it is and i am 110 percent certain that we do not send out un roadworthy vehicles
Gonzo, are we to take you seriously on this? You better make it three tools. You forgot the one behind the wheel!
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN’T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN’T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

no i’m out and about
but did speak to said guy and he also mentioned that you had problems with the seat and tacho
now i agree with you on the state of some of the trucks its a problem that is slowly being sorted but i do take issue that we send vehicles out in an unroadworthy condition which is not true we may not have the newest or shiniest fleet but we keep them legal
now then
did you think to mention in in the 15 minutes you was doing your check of which your tacho should of been filled out and in for to mention to either the tm or the garage that this indicator stork was broke ?
and as for being cowboys ■■? really far from it and if dhl ran that contract so well enlighten me as to why they chose to drop it then ?
oh and miss daisy so i’m a tool because i choose to work for them ?
as some of us have work to do i will argue with you all later when i get home as i still have a bit to do
now if you had been at this game for long enough you could have messed about until you got 8 hours out of it …simples…

and hung around in the garage till said problem was fixed
If something went wrong when i was down the road, I would do whatever it took to get the job done and back to the yard, But setting off in a wreck is just plain stupid.
You did the right thing.
@Gonzo. Are you in charge of the fleet or a driver?
Catch Gonzo!

bit of a sense of humour failure when people judge a company they know little about
