Apparently there is now a camera at jct 10 on the m4 doin people for insecure loads(ye right)another driver swore blind that he got done buy said camera for not havin every pack of bricks strapped, when I said to him how do thy check taut liners/box trls etc he said it was x ray aswell n can see inside has any one had any experiances of this I’m worried now I might have to get my lorry lead linned
I heard it had an infrared weight scanner and a remote downloader for the tacho too 
I was really lucky then, I got zapped by aliens at junction 9 so never made it to junction 10, I did see the VOSA helicopter with the full x ray scanner and ray gun on the m5 yesterday though.

What a load of rubbish you lot talk, everybody knows that vosa will be using that new super telescope that’s going to go in Australia or South Africa , they will then be able to see anywhere and anything.

How do you even know that the cameras at that junction are real and not just fake ones? Surely everyone knows that the obvious cameras are there for those that expect to see a camera. What you have to look out for is the covert hidden cameras 
or cameras disguised as other things 
How many years were people slowing down for those green and blue poles (with cameras on, not Polish photographers) thinking they were speed cameras when in fact they were measuring general traffic stuff 
If you’re above board, not speeding, not overweight and have sorted your diet and exercise out then why worry

Yeah, I’ve a friend that told me I should consistently run the diesel tank on the truck to lower than the red mark just to ■■■■ up all the diesel and not let any go to waste.
He was also the one that reckoned that a foot put down more wait than a 7 ton truck on rubber tyres. He tried that on a wet day yet was still adamant that he only got stuck up to his axles as it was a very soft bit of ground…
His nickname is Dangerous Dave Or was that because he had his ADR? Anyway, you get the idea

There was a thread on here a few years ago where someone said he was running low on diesel so he put his boot down to that he could get to the filling station before it ran out.
The advice I have been given was to cut back on power, ie down to 45/50mph on the motorway etc as the fuel usage would then decrease maybe enough to get back…
Personally I don’t let it get into the red on a commercial vehicle but my own gets this abused more

its only true if its in the sun or daily sport you should know that by now lol i got told VOSA just sit there an rub their crystal balls
