I believe they run to Ireland?
According to the advert on JC (which i might be wrong but take it you have seen) they run over to ireland with nights out! Collections and deliveries all over the UK
Yep, have seen the ad, hence why i am curious about them.
I am working not too far from them for an agency at the minute, its about 20 mile from me…would have to be 4 nights out a week to make it worth all that travelling.
Hi ,Donutuk. I worked for Warleys up until 5wks ago in Belfast. The main core of their business is automotive parts delivery, panels, engines ,motorbikes, quads, jet skis stuff like that
They deliver to Toyota,Bmw,Renault,Nissan,Peugeot,Honda,Susuki main dealers around northern ireland. They employ small subbies here in ireland to do most of the hands on deliveries,if you were looking at the job ad in england did it say operating out of Belfast or birmingham
It would be working out of Birmingham.
What were they like to work for?
Hi Donutuk, they were grand to work for I was in through a subbie doing a set run around northern ireland which was all local work for me car parts and some groupage. The guys working out of England all said that it was very straightforward work. They crossed some of the lads into Dublin on next day delivery service, the other lads came into Larne to get to us in duncrue ind est Belfast. The Belfast drop is usually one hit for lads they get in 6-6.30am usually good quick tip its all in wooden crates metal cages or pallets, the step- frame trailer is all wheeled cages warleys own men empty that, the parts trailers also emptied by wharehouse men the groupage trailers can the odd time be a bit crappy depending on wether anybody bothered their ■■■ strapping the stuff and also it can be piled on top of each other, this is the only time Warleys men have to get out of the cab to lend a hand its not very often though.the only reason I packed up was because I took a job at home.
If you want any other info or I can be of any help shout away ok KMAC
Thanks for that.
Might well drop them a line and see what happens.
no probs ,you need to be quick though, as they have only decided to do their own transport 2 wks ago and they dont intend hanging about.I would phone them dont waste time with cv.If you need a contact name and number I can give you one for manager in Belfast, dont know any of them in Birmingham ok
