does anyone on here know of any scania v8 tag axle tractor units for sale or coming up for sale?
I was talking to an operator recently and he said he’s having a lot of bother getting them at sensible money so he’s been looking at buying 4x2’s and getting the axle fitted and he reckons it could still work out cheaper.
i have heard of a few guys doing that but unsure how it would go in the long run having a stretched unit strength and such like

i,ve just (well 2 months ago) seen a 2007 Griffin spec, 620, tag axle, all the eminox/kelsa bits you could want go for £37,500 i thought it was too much for a 7yr old truck so passed on it
that was a private sale so god knows what a dealer would have wanted
yeah that does sound abit steep it must have done low kms or been something special
Wooliscroft garage services at Ashbourne he has some tidy trucks for sale now and then and scania tag axles
Keep your eye on eBay and also try to pick up Trucklocator, usually a good range in those two

Well 1 tag and 1 lift. Both have over a million kms but both under £12k
i dont know why i bother.
