Hey Alex, youre a container driver, stop those thoughts!!!, i thought the longer it takes to load the better for you. more time on the bunk! , the closest you get to loading/unloading is undoing the doors you lazy so and so!

whats the idea of those trailers? as some of the lads have said they look very slow unloading i heard Stobart uses them.

walking floors are mainly used for versitility. ie you could carry woodchip on your out load, and pallets of dog food on your return load, stobart uses his walking floors on a waste paper/cardboard contract, he take the waste too belguim tips there, reloads pallets back as far as am aware

Stevenson’s of Avonbridge had one for woodchip, years ago :unamused:

Not new technology…

tey now have about 10 of them, much safer than the tippers when load with woodchip.

why do you need good luck i have driven them for 15 years would never go back to anything else.
known dion in the office at walkers for years. so might see you around aylesford newsprint tipping in there most days. you might not get the best trailer on the fleet but everyones got to start somewhere,
just take your time until you get use to it and have fun

the moffet behind the trailer iam alright with
i imagine you engage the pto then you have buttons or remote to control the trailer
will have to watch out when iam nearing the bulkhead and also when iam loading the bales they dont fall every wear because they are double stacked
gently on i think

pete
