Walked from an "induction" 2

the nodding donkey:
Stop feeding the troll

Have you not noticed that, whichever thread he joins, he simply regurgitates the same mantra over and over.

A bit like manalishi…

:unamused:

I don’t actually think Carryfast is a troll.

I think he spews the same BS over and over again because he is bitter & workshy!

Bitterness caused by the fact he failed in his mission to get a job doing distance work all over Europe, and also that no employer in this country would go near him for for the last 20 odd years for the same sort of work because of his clearly poor attitude. Workshy, because he believes that anything other than being a steering wheel attendant is something that should never be expected of a class 1 driver.

I do admire Geoffrey Carry-Fast’s relentless determination

Determination to stay on topic.

  :smiley:You may just be the least self aware person I’ve ever encountered

Define engineer, train driver? Engineer is such a broad and misleading term.

What did you mean by the term engineer. You said I’ve supposedly ‘tried to pass myself off as an engineer’ so exactly where and when and how did I supposedly do that.
Engineer has never been a term related to train driver in the UK and I’ve never claimed to be a train driver either even if it was.

You have a real knack of not answering questions with waffle. The more direct the question, the greater the waffle.
Direct question; in what engineering discipline did you fail?
A direct, short phrase answer will suffice, e.g. civil, structural etc…

I didn’t fail anything.I quit as in transferred to works transport and road testing at my own request and the request was granted.
Up to that point I’d passed the C and G mechanical engineering exams that I’d taken with credit.
I just didn’t bother to take the next exam stages to qualify because I wanted to be a driver not an engineer. How is that failed.
Why would I have needed to qualify in a trade which I didn’t want to go through with.
What has engineering got to do with the road transport industry and its degeneration which is the cause of the OP’s issue.
Maybe the Mods should warn you about posting off topic crap.

So in fact you have no training as an engineer (in it’s true meaning), you merely failed to complete an apprenticeship, that would have culminated in a blue collar qualification of tradesman.

Greetings from one failed engineer to another. See, we do have some things in common!

Carryfast and the word failed never seem far apart do they!

You’ve gone uncharacteristically quiet CF, nail/head?
