Waitrose Group Interviews

Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone has had a group interview with activities for Waitrose ?

Is it the usual building with lego, strongest paper tower etc interview or different for drivers.

Cheers

Lego building? I’ll have some of that :smiling_imp:

WTF lego building, paper towersâ– â– ?

I thought you was going to drive a lorry. No wonder the country is going to pot

The skills required to build a lego house far exceed those needed to drive a lorry… I expect their looking for the cream of the crop.

What if you’re expected to build your own wagon for the job out of lego, and present your smiley face digicard as well? :unamused:

It says ERF not RAF:
Waitrose depot? - THE UK PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS FORUM (INTERACTIVE) - Trucknet UK

How does that answer the op question?

â– â– ? I wanted to know if any drivers here have had a Waitrose group interview and if so could they give some insight into whether it was specialised for drivers OR just the usual Waitrose interview.

Thanks

Because ‘TNT Trucker’ who has posted on that thread has stated he may have made it through to the ‘INTERVIEW’ stage due to the fact he hasn’t yet had the email saying he was unsuccessful.
He will keep us posted as to whether he does indeed attend an interview which in turn MAY answer the ‘OP question’ !!!

I recently attended an interview for the local Morrisons to me (Burton Latimer), as i’d moved further away from my depot.

You’d have thought i’d have gone to apply for chief brain surgeon !!! :imp:

I’ve been invited for a group interview but haven’t selected my date yet. I too would be keen to know any inside info on what’s required.

Does anyone know what JOHN LEWIS drivers earn as partners and shift patterns?
Are they:

4 on 4 off
4 on 3 off
4 on 2 off

Can you get day work?

Heard positive things about working for JL but no concrete info

try any 5 from 7 same as asda

Good luck to all those going for interviews, I have been driving with the partnership for 6 years and I would not go back to being away all week , I know money is a big deciding factor in any job , but also look at the benefits that go with being a partner too, as I say good luck to all those that go for an interview
