They told me the planned times are what it’s “planned” for but know it may not be right but just not bothered changing it.

rob I wasn’t even planned by esl when I got done , I wasn’t attempting to get anywhere other than parked up ( even procecution solicitor said it in court , like judge said , they have a duty of care and they failed miserably by not answering phone / txts , I lost my head after banging it against. building site wall all day , and the rest history .
no rob I’m not a giraffe I say the job as I see it ( or it is for me ) , I could stand here like the rest and say it’s the best job ever , I do what I want , start when I want , do 9 hrs a day , always back by dinner time on a Friday , but it simply wouldn’t be true
I’m parked up now , 14.30 , but that’s only because the load isn’t due for collection until 22.00 , if it had been ready I’d of been heading for Lutterworth with it and if I’d of had time tip it
I think there’s a wind up going on here and it’s not me , 9 hrs tramping , start when you want , park up when you want , best job ever , I’ve heard it so many times over the years , and then next week there jacking the job because it’s ■■■■
if I thought I could of moved those washing machines / cookers / fridge freezers I’d of took the job at currys , but it’s a shame but it’s a young mans job , not a 56 yr old with a zb body

and I’m now sat at Bridgwater srvs as Gerber said come back at your booking time of 22.00 which contrary to what your saying confirms to me the collection time is 22.00 .
( I doubt I’ll be back at 22.00 as I knocked off at 14.30 though )

well the micorolise say its a 22.00 collection , gerber say its a 22.00 collection , driver line say its a 22.00 collection so I’m guessing it is a 22.00 collection
and I’ll believe all them over planners who apparently can’t be bothered to do the job correctly ( not that I didn’t already know that )
as for don’t push making me feel better , I don’t care as I lost any interest in the job when they took over from innovate and completely zb up the whole chilled division

What wrong.You post before who you start time at midnight.So you can start at you time,collect you load just 2hours later for booking time and drive,drive,drive.
Bloody Hell dozy,
tell them you need 11 hrs off and at 1.30 am you will start your journey to collect your load.
Otherwise start at 23.30 pm and do your collection. If they plan it stupidly > carry on in a calm manner and do your best but never rush > you know that they plan it crazy anyway > so let them.
Do what you can legally do and call it a day.
You said they wanted you to carry on after 14 hrs. Either turn the phone off or have a look on the map + sat nav to what parking place/services you could get within the next 30-40 minutes and than park up at the next possible location in that range.
If they ask: Tell them you found a safe ■■■■■■■■■■■■ and call it a day.
If you carry on all the time, at some point you will park in another trailer due to crashing etc.
Dozy you must play us, because there enough people on here having friends who drive for Stobarts. They all said lots and lots of times before that they don’t have the same big issues as you do.
