If you hunt about you may find a firm willing to put you through the class1 etc and THEY pay for it.
Your obviously asked to sign contract then for min amount of employment with said company or they can recoup training from wages if you leave early.

My firm AFAIA do exactly the above to try to get “young blood” into the industry,
Other local NI trucking companies do similar.[emoji106]

Join the army, they pay for your training, get your licence and put in the 3 years then look around

even better, join the TA and still get it free, but start driving in civvy street straight away.

Looks like two of these squadrons are pet ops, so you’d get your ADR tanks too - like bloody gold dust, that course!
