This months wages , 134 hrs , I’d be aiming for more if op as that’s e.midlands , tramping should be a fair bit more , I’ve earned more but too old / knackered / unhealthy to be chasing the ££££££& these days , it does me

Really? Or is that with ot, bonus etc? That’s only 33hrs a week so £36ph :astonished_face:, must be nights too.

Actually I heard Sainsbury’s are now on £60k on nights

Usually the USA mileage rate is significant-to-astronomical compared to what our Owner Operators get (although in recent years it’s been stagnant). There’s also a LOT more work and scope to do local or Over The Road (Tramping). Their DOT weigh-bridges are like mini-Vosa Way-Stations and take no-prisoners (usually) if your axles are over etc.
