Hi all , some of my old unā€™s from BRS northampton(now DHL)
D115VVV just after her respray from M/care light blue to horrid storehouse navy, around 88

BRS @ Northampton tried Manā€™s instead of Dafā€™s early 90s-excellent truck ;shame about the pod

sadly Travis perkins ditched drags for artics 2001

Saw this in Albania couple of years ago

A few older photos

I think this is a novel solution due to the fact that a company needs fewer trucks, especially if you stick an A frame trailer behind it.

hello, i own two lorries one artic, one drawbar, And reading a lot of comments on this site about how a drawbar "caravan"type trailer is the same to back as artics, Well i own both and the drawbar is a lot harder to back, You need a lot more room delivering to tight places, your rigid is your artic unit, rigids dont throw them selfs around fast like units so more room is needed, rigids are longer then artic units ,Plus forwards you can spin artics on the spot, not so easy in a drawbar,People say A frame turn table trailers are the proper wagon and drags But drawbar ā€œcaravanā€ type trailers are not,but i think whatevers being dragged along behind a rigid lorry is a wagon & drag.I deliver to farms on hay & straw and tight small farms in the hills with any lorry is hard work.

What company is that then if you donā€™t mind me asking?

Hello removalboy if you dont mind ill stay low for a bit ive only been on here a few weeks ,And i might only come on here once in a blue moon, Smart merc you got there,Hell i just read what i last put , hope it made sense it did when it left my head,i own a 1998 fh12 drawbar and a 2003 fh12 artic. My drawbar trailer is a 2 axle ,25ft long, on 17.5 wheels, But i may go for a 3 axle but they hold there price, plus mines a 50m pin and its hard finding a 3 axle that size.
