just had a 35l waeco coolbox bought for me, i know it runs off 12v or 24v but does it make any difference to battery life or cooling efficiency as to which one is used?
Yes use 24v socket. Will draw half the current. Cooling unaffected
P.S what model? May be in the market for one soon.

Just remember as it’s not a compressor style fridge, the internal temperature will go up and down with relation to the in cab temperature so you might be better to set it lower to say 1 or 2 deg. Might be fine at that though seeing as it’s a top quality bit of kit, unlike the ■■■■■ you get from ebay
You will be ok with that model. My mate had one for 6 years with no problems. He’s just flogged it for 40 quid as he’s left the job and doesn’t need one.
