Hi Duncan
I am on holiday at the moment but have some photos of the Wavin vehicles at home, one is a delivery on the Western Bypass at the airport junction which at the time If I remember correctly was the longest load out of Medowfield. The other is a photo in Shotley yard of the first two Wavin liveried trucks with the drivers Bruce & Jimmy. Will try & sort them when I get back. Good to see your photos, brings back a few good memories.

cheers transporter man , was sorting a few of the photos that I found while clearing out dads house after his death last july [joe bladen]

if I find any more I shall post them for you

regards Duncan

Realy sorry to hear about Joe Duncan he was a true waggon man, is Malcolm still on th go?

nah , just before dad passed away , he told me about Malcolm … he was working for allinson transport[darlington] , he pulled up at a drop , wet and asked where they wanted their stuff, after a while when it wasn’t taken off wagon, the went to find driver , he had dropped down dead , on opening the curtains …
this was about this time last yr
