Dont know if any one has had to apply for an opperators licence recently and has had to endure the process.
A freind of mine runs a repair & maintenance business (Ltd company)and had decided to branch out into haulage.
He asked me to be his transport manager and we started the application process.
That was January 2010, we still have no licence but have been called to a public enquiry to be
held in December
I have phoned Leeds twice a week since February trying to get an update, we aswered the 3 letter
that they sent asking for additional info.
They seem to take for ever to process any thing.
Now nearly 1 year after the application they call you to a P.I. to ask you all the questions you have answered
allready, 1 year is a long time, my freind has since split up with his partner so she is no longer a director, he has found a new operating centre as his partner owned the old one so we now have to change the application and hopefully this will not delay it.
Has any one else had these problems with VOSA?
