I pulled on Hartshead Moor Services Westbound at 1200 today. I hadnt even switched the engine off and there was two VOSA chappies stood by my door.They were walking around the services with their toffee hammers doing spot checks. They had parked their Mini by the steps and were prowling about, no VOSA car an ordinary Mini.So beware peeps look out for a little black Mini parked in Truck area.

No they didn’t ,but part of them became Dvsa .
VOSA and the Driver Standards Agengy (DSA) Merged to become the DVSA, so VOSA no longer exists as I stated.

They used to drive about Glasgow in a silver Skoda and a silver astra. They were definitely VOSA. Anyone pulled in Glasgow will probably have been given the once over by the old boy with the moustache. He looked at least 70 years old. He drove the Skoda.

A vosa man used to come on the last services on the A2 north before the 25 in a black Peugeot 405 ,I think he was waiting for girls doing the photo shoots really !
We had one come on an “unofficial visit” at my previous employer. He came in his own car.
But at the services as Switchlogic says, I’d be asking for their ID. You can’t trust anybody these days.
