I don’t understand some of these stories regarding pallets, I carry any weight between 30 and 2000kg and the only ones that move about are the light ones, and they’re highly unlikely to come flying through a curtain or out the back door, are they?
Anyone that can make a heavy pallet do either of the above either needs to stop polishing their load bed or take up stunt driving.
What doesn’t help is when the heaviest bit is at the top, so at the first bend/brake it all goes over.
Incidentally, we’ve been told to strap our loads, though we have no flat beds or curtainsiders, only rigid box lutons, 7.5t’s, demount bodies and artic trailers.
