VOSA - Petty rules are us!

It would appear that this fine example of Americana has fallen foul of the ridiculous British lenght laws and the owner has decided to let it go. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? … otohosting
A real shame, if the vehicle can do the job without getting stuck, tell me, what’s the problem? The ministry really don’t like anything thats not the run of the mill, I had real problems with them over my Peterbilt. But it’s all safe & legal so they had to relent, but they were less than happy about it.

would it be ok for a tipper?
nice wagon all the same.

Without knowing the actual wheelbase, its impossible to tell, but probably yes, also sliding skellie may be ok, but if thats not your bag…
I still don’t understand why the lenght should be an issue.

i’m sure i’ve seen it on the road, maybe on the a38, wonder if the owner got a pull?

I’ve seen it on the M25, from the way the advert reads I’d put money on it.

how would you stand with an extender on, would the lengh rule go out the window?

I don’t know but guess you’d be into STGO regs.
