One of the lads who has been caught for running bent at his previous firm was in court today (crown) , started off at magistrates then sent to crown , he has gone today and although him and his brother have admitted to the offences it has been adjourned until next May as not enough evidence ? , all the other lads have denied it so apparently they can’t punish them until they have enough to do the others. Surely the driver admitting to it is enough in its self lol , anyhow the wait goes on for another year , I wonder if justice will be served !!

Crown Court,suggests that "running bent"is far from the only issue,it could be the affairs of his previous employer that are under serious investigation.
Fraud -Tax -Insurance- Maintenance etc etc etc

Agree with lollipop if they have adjourned the case for a year then they’re certainly going to be delving a lot deeper than running bent. I’d feel ■■■■ though if I was the fella having to sleep on it for another 12 month, may affect his health but hey ho I guess he knew what he was doing and what could happen if he got caught.

Ever since it started its been a carry on , the ex boss apparently isn’t in the UK , every time you speak to one the amount of infringements they are getting done for varies from 7-21 lol , these 2 admitted the offences , but the other 18 or so have denied it saying the trackers were faulty or something along them lines …I would imagine they will be getting a hefty punishment going on for this long and for what they are getting done for , or is justice not going to be served as usual lol
If you work on the basis there’s only so much money to go round given no-one has seemingly died as a result of this it’s fairly hard to justify the expense of prosecuting on a public interest basis. Lengthy licence revocation by a TC would be adequate.

I’m off during the week depending on my rota. I’ve seen a few jezza and of that judge rinder. They must be scraping the barrel for daytime TV showing this crap. I watched a couple of bits of them but don’t know how people can watch this stuff all the time
