I have seen many foreign drivers paying a fine at Cartgate and Podimore Esso garage.The cash point there must come in handy.
use the A303 everyday and guaranteed vosa are there once or twice a week .

I can see that one being for the ferry traffic. If you come over from Le Havre or Caen on ferry mode, an hour will take you just beyond that point, on a good day.
I was pulled at cartgate in 2011, they seemed ok and only did the basics - a few issues on the card, which wernt major so a swift return to the highway beckoned…
