Speaking to one of our night drivers this morning he was saying that he got stopped for a quick routine check by VOSA in the early hours and there was a cop van also there with a Bulgarian and a Romanian in handcuffs and apparently they were from the same company but one had a digi truck and the other had an analogue truck and they were swapping about after each shift and not having hardly any break.
So i’m guessing they might be in it upto their necks with that hopefully.
I heard a story at work recently about four, shall we say flips, all sharing one driving licence 
Was tipping few weeks ago and saw vosa escorting a romo truck out from coldstore
Thrns out they pulled him. Night before on m6
Came back to check him next morning as had a susspicion
He was backed on bay with magnet on After 830 break and checked the site cctv for him coming in and backing on bay
Vosa come back in after and they said took him to services and clamped him
£950 fine and parked for 24hours
Fine a joke if that was us in euro would be 000’s and prob nick now
Well these 2 were in cuffs which i believe is quite rare.

Last person I know of to be caught on the magnet in France got a 9,000 euro fine 4,500 for the magnet and 4,500 for having no limiter that was in 2010 so sure it will have gone up a bit since then
Know one guy this year feuck was doing 95kph
Got stopped on forrest rd unmarked car
Fine and limiter recalibrated was 1500 euro
As drivers we all dis vosa but at the end of tje day they have a job to do and the simple answer is don’t do the crime. I mean is it really worth is yes we all make mistakes.
