It seems at the moment they are not too worried about infringements on this matter,the concern is for driving hours and rest offences,but i have been informed that it may change for fines for WTD and RTD discrepancies,as this is a money generator the the government coffers.

It isn’t the same, the Working Time Directive has to do with Working Time for the masses.
The Road Transport Directive has to do with, well, Road Transport!
