Vosa amazon dunfermline

Heads up…

What?

They were outside Amazon Rugeley about 3 week ago.

m1cks:
What?

could be VOSA have their heads up Amazon Dunfermline’s arse

It would make sense for them to sit somewhere where there are lots of LGVs that they can check all they have to do is sit nearby and pick the ones they want they have quantity without having to go and look for it, which gets harder for them now that they dont get as much help from the Police on stopping.
Im surprised that we dont see more and more of this happening at large sites where there is lots of owner drivers and mixed bag of large companies.

They used to be regulars at Lidl Livinsgston, make sure you’ve got tacho on other work when you’re in tipping

That goes for ever Lidl and Aldi

or anywhere off he beaten track
Morrisons Sittingbourne

With Lidl in Livingston it is hard to believe that there is no collusion between Lidl and VOSA tipped in there at 6 every other fridge that tipped at that time off the site by 7 at 7.15 I go in and ask when will my paper work be ready 7.30 comes the reply, 7.25 VOSA are knocking the door let go at 9.30 no one else checked in that time and nothing wrong either apart from a Donegal number plate. Next time I was in there asked if my paperwork would be ready before or after the VOSA visit cue a red face from the women in there and a half hearted denial.

My mate was at Rugely. Apparantly their presence there was not just a one off, its regular… as the story goes thry were doing drivers for sitting on break whilst in the drivers rest room… which technically should be poa. If it had have been me then id have just said i had asked if i was going to be more than 45 mins to which they said yes and that i wouldnt be available to return to myntrucj should they require…if the vosa people asked why id have been on break for 2 hours etc then i would have just said that wouldnt return my keys to me to change my tacho mode… apparantly a few of the drivers got done… play them at their own game i wreckon

Nonsense, it isn’t technically POA. Nothing illegal about having it on break while you are in the driver’s rest room and there is no chance VOSA were issuing penalties for that.

The claims that drivers were being done is just RDC/driver’s ■■■■■■■■; let me guess, the people who were claiming that were saying it was because the drivers were not free to dispose of their time? :stuck_out_tongue:

The use of POA in that situation could be illegal unless you’ve ben told how long you are going to be or have an idea based on experience there.

We’re not allowed to use poa, so it’d be rest for us.

I never use poa anyway, whether I’m ‘‘allowed’’ :unamused: or not.
If I ain’t driving or on a break I’m working …end of. I don’t play these bloody stupid games set up by the powers that be to make us look like we are doing something we ain’t, ie working reasonable hours, so ■■■■ em! :smiling_imp:

Thanks. You make it seem somewhat bad that a company won’t allow their workforce to use poa with your “Rolling eyes” Why?

Yeh, fair enough, ok , sorry mate, it just came across as a bit wet the ‘‘we’re not allowed’’ bit.
Blame the beer  (again unfortunately :unamused: )
I’m off tomorrow so I’m making the best of it and blagging the John Smiths.
You should never post when half ■■■■■■■ you end up making (more  ) enemies

Don’t blame you with the ale, especially this time of year. I must admit, it does sound a little soft though.
